  • FS points are non-transferable and cannot be sold or traded
  • We reserve the right to modify, reset, or remove FS points at any time

7. Tournament Participation

18. Refund and Cancellation Policy

18.1 Tournament Entry Fees

Tournament entry fees are generally non-refundable. However, refunds may be available in the following circumstances:

  • If a tournament is cancelled by us, full refunds will be provided
  • If a tournament is postponed, you may request a refund or transfer your entry to the new date
  • If you cancel at least 14 days before the tournament date, a partial refund (minus processing fees) may be available
  • Refunds for medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 30 days of the relevant event.

18.2 Processing Time

Refunds, when approved, will be processed within 14 business days and credited to the original payment method used.

19. Dispute Resolution

19.1 Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with us, we encourage you to contact us first to try to resolve it informally. Please contact us at [email protected].

19.2 Mediation

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, we agree to attempt to resolve it through mediation. Mediation will be conducted by a neutral mediator agreed upon by both parties, or if no agreement can be reached, by a mediator appointed by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).

19.3 Arbitration

If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1996. The arbitration will be conducted in London, England, in the English language.

20. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms that is due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, weather conditions, or acts of God
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • Government actions or regulations
  • Internet or telecommunications failures
  • Strikes or labor disputes

In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and will resume performance as soon as reasonably possible.

21. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder to any third party without your consent, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

22. Waiver

No waiver of any term or condition of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or any other term or condition. Any failure to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Trophy Anglers regarding your use of the Website and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.

24. Language

These Terms are written in English. If these Terms are translated into other languages, the English version shall prevail in the event of any conflict or discrepancy.

25. Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer (an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft, or profession), nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection legislation, including:

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015
  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
  • Your right to receive services with reasonable care and skill
